Sing! It is the least we could do.  Make a joyful noise.

"Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before Him with joyful singing. know that the Lord Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of his pasture." Psalm 100:1-3

Cornerstone Christian Academy gives students the opportunity to take voice lessons and learn choral singing. The music teacher, Faye Abbas, comes twice a week and offers one-on-one attention with students, teaching them to become well-rounded singers while showing them how to use their talents to glorify God. Lessons are available to students of all ages, both individually and as a class. Towards the end of the year, Abbas trains students who wish to perform at http://www.aceministries.com/studentprograms/isc/, coaching them on how to work together and perform in front of an audience. We received a choral grant from RDLA Foundation, http://www.rdla.net, which believes that music will make any student thrive both academically and spiritually. Therefore, all students are required to participate in vocal training. We have expanded our program to include music reading and instrumentation. Our vision for the near future includes orchestraand ministerial worship, eventually having after school programs and classes five days a week.

Faye Abbas is one of the most experienced music teachers in Woodland. Abbas has both a Bachelor's Degree and Masters in music, and she has been giving music lessons, both singing and piano, for over 25 years. She provides professional training from both her educational training as well as years of hands-on experience.

Faye teaches the fundamentals of singing and basic voice exercises, as well as training the more advanced students in skills such as stage presence and voice projection.

Her goal is to be at Cornerstone 5 days a week so that students each will have a well rounded music education that will spill over into all their other academic and educational pursuits
